Position Qualifications:
President-Elect:
Must be a member in good standing with MSAR.
Must have served as a Chair of a committee.
Must have served on a committee for a minimum of one (1) year.
Must have served a minimum of one (1) year in a Vice President Position before applying for President-Elect.
Elected Officers (Vice Presidents)
Must be a member in good standing with MSAR.
Must have served as a Chair of a committee for a minimum of one (1) year.
Must have served on a committee for a minimum of one (1) year.
Local and State Directors:
Must be a REALTOR® or an Affiliate Member
Must have been a Member of the Association for at least two (2) years at the time of election/appointment
Diversification: No more than three (3) members of the Board of Directors, including all Officers, may be from the same realty firm except in such instances when individuals transfer from one company to another company after their election or during their term of office. The Nominating Committee must abide by this rule when selecting Nominees each year. The Nominating Committee will attempt to have representation on the Board of Directors from all areas of the Association in similar proportions to the number of companies and members serving each area.
